Swanwick

Opened in May 2024, Freedom Boat Club’s Swanwick location is nestled on the River Hamble, placing members right at the gateway to some of the best boating in the UK.

From Swanwick, you can cruise past a variety of popular waterfront restaurants and pubs en route to Southampton Water. Just beyond lies the open Solent, offering easy access to iconic boating destinations including the Isle of Wight, Portsmouth, Beaulieu, and the stunning South Coast.

Swanwick forms part of our growing Thames–Solent Hub, giving members unlimited boating across three unique locations: Hythe, Swanwick, and Chertsey. With one membership, you can enjoy the perfect mix of river cruising and coastal adventures, all under the same club.

The Swanwick fleet includes:

IRON 767 – a sleek, Scandinavian-designed performance boat perfect for dynamic cruising
Beneteau Antares 7 – a compact cruiser offering excellent protection from the elements, ideal for variable UK weather
