Freedom Boat Club has been in business since 1989. We’re the world’s largest and oldest members-only boat club and we’re expanding rapidly.
Our reservation system ensures that all members have equal access to the boats. As the club grows in membership, new units are added, so that members can always enjoy available weekday and weekend sailings. In addition, members can make reservations up to six months in advance.
No, you will never have usage charges. Your only additional cost is for the fuel that you use.
Boat usage is unlimited at your home location.
Reserving a boat has never been easier. Simply log in to your reservation dashboard and choose your desired date, vessel, and time slot.
We maintain a wide variety of boats, from "open" models of 6 meters in length, to cabin cruising boats with cabin. Each base chooses its own fleet according to the most common needs and types of navigation in the area. You can consult the available fleet by accessing your base of interest.
You have access to a fleet of boats. This means you can choose one boat or another depending on your plans for the day: cruising, fishing, towing…
The boats will always be fueled and ready to go. Most marinas have a gas station where you can refuel on your return. Likewise, our staff will explain the refueling schedules and procedures during your training.
As long as a member is present, you can bring friends, family, guests, children, colleagues, or even your favorite pet.
Membership is open to boaters of all levels, 18 years of age and older. Whether you have never sailed before or have been sailing for years, Freedom Boat Club welcomes you as a member.
Depending on your membership type, you can sail in your local Club, or have access to all Freedom Clubs worldwide.
Freedom Boat Club is a leading advocate for boater education and safety. Each and every one of our Clubs provides FREE training to our members on every new model of boat they wish to be able to use. Members must complete these training courses before they can begin reserving boats.
Never. This is a private fleet. We do not rent any of the boats in our fleet. This allows us to better maintain the condition of our boats and ensures the highest possible level of fleet availability to our members.
All boats have required equipment (per country guidance) including life jackets, a fire extinguisher, sound equipment, and flares. Boats are checked for this equipment by both the dock staff and member prior to departure.
At Freedom Boat Club across the world, we all have one thing in common. We are all passionate about life around the water, and we love to celebrate it! As a member you will be able to meet other members and spend good times together at social events such as afterworks, fishing training sessions, wakeboaring sessions, name it!
