No. We never rent boats by the day to non-members. All vessels in our fleet are reserved for member use.

Yes! If your membership plan includes reciprocal access, you can boat at 450+ locations across the U.S., Canada, Europe, Australia, New Zealand, and the United Arab Emirates. Bookings outside your home club are limited to 4 per location in a calendar year. Please note that additional training and licensing requirements may be required at select locations.

No prior boating experience is required. Freedom Boat Club welcomes all skill levels and provides award-winning training to all new members prior to their first reservation.

Yes. All members receive free, comprehensive training that includes online and on-water instruction. Successfully completing our new member orientation is required before creating your first reservation. Members also benefit from free, unlimited standard training throughout the lifetime of their membership. Additional paid training to operate amenity vessels may also be available at select locations.

Members must comply with all applicable local boating laws and regulations in the areas where they operate a boat. Depending on your location, this may include obtaining a boating license, completing a recognized boating safety course, or obtaining other certifications required by local authorities. All boats are equipped with required safety gear, which typically includes enough life jackets for everyone on board, a throwable flotation device, a fire extinguisher, sound signaling devices, flares, and a VHF radio. We recommend checking directly with each location regarding the availability of youth and infant life jackets.

Yes! As long as the Freedom Boat Club member is onboard, guests are welcome. We have an unlimited guest policy, but the total number of guests must not exceed the vessel’s maximum capacity indicated in the reservation system.

Yes! Dogs are welcome aboard Freedom Boat Club boats. Please double-check the reservation system for any restrictions that may apply to a specific location. 

Absolutely. Boat club membership is a popular recreational activity option for families. The boats in our fleet are very family-friendly, especially the pontoons and tritoons.
