Rafa Russo is a dedicated Membership Executive and Captain at Freedom Boat Club, where he has been contributing to the organization’s success since 2014. With a passion for providing exceptional service, Rafa is committed to ensuring members have the best boating experiences possible. 

His diverse professional background includes roles in international soccer coaching, insurance, and owning his own business. Rafa’s expertise and leadership have helped him build strong relationships with clients and colleagues alike, earning him a reputation for excellence in every field he’s worked in.

Rafa's academic achievements include an MBA from Thomas College, a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Maine, and U.S. Coast Guard Mariner Captain Credentials, solidifying his broad knowledge base in both business and maritime affairs.

Throughout his career, Rafa has received several prestigious accolades, including the Farm Bureau Citizenship Award and recognition in the Senior Agent Hall of Fame from Farm Family Insurance Companies. These awards reflect his commitment to both his community and his professional growth.

Outside of his professional life, Rafa is an avid sports enthusiast who enjoys golf, tennis, fitness, and motorcycle riding. His love for sports extends to his past as an international soccer coach. Above all, Rafa values time with his family, which includes his wife, Lisa, their three stepchildren, and seven granddaughters and one grandson, as well as his daughters, Whitney and Alexis, and their husbands, Michael and Conor.

Rafa Russo is driven by a strong sense of service and commitment, always striving to help others while balancing the joys of family and personal hobbies. His mission statement is "Service to the member".
