Freedom Boat Club Members Set a New Global Record on the Water in 2025 

At Freedom Boat Club, every great day on the water starts with one simple idea: boating should be easy, accessible, and unforgettable. In 2025, our members proved just how powerful that idea has become. 

This past year, Freedom Boat Club members logged more than 640,000 boating trips worldwide, setting a new global record and marking our third consecutive year surpassing 600,000 trips. That milestone represents more than 5% year-over-year growth, and even more importantly, hundreds of thousands of moments spent cruising, fishing, relaxing, and making memories on the water. 

What This Milestone Really Means for Members  

This record wasn’t set by a single destination or season, it was achieved across more than 400 Freedom Boat Club locations spanning North America, Europe, Australia, and New Zealand. From coastal escapes to inland lakes, Freedom members are taking advantage of unmatched access to boating, wherever life takes them. 

As Cecil Cohn, President of the Freedom Boat Club Network, shared: 

“Achieving this level of participation for a third straight year reflects not only the appeal and reach of our model, but also the incredible passion of our franchise and corporate clubs to deliver remarkable experiences on the water every day.”

Behind every great boating experience is a great local club. In 2025, 18 Freedom Boat Club locations recorded 10,000 or more member trips, with new additions including Grand Strand and Hilton Head: a sign of continued momentum across both coastal and inland markets. 

From Boston to San Diego, Seattle to Tampa Bay, and everywhere in between, these clubs are meeting growing demand while maintaining the high level of service and access members expect. Whether your home club operates seasonally or year-round, the focus remains the same: reliable boats, simple reservations, and time well spent on the water.
