I have been an avid boater my whole life - having owned many and varied types of boats.  I even lived on a houseboat on Lake Lanier in Georgia for a period of time.  I love being around the water.  Like the title character in Norman Maclean's book A River Runs Through It states:  "I am haunted by waters".  But I have found that the easiest and most cost-effective way to be on the water and enjoy the boating lifestyle is by taking advantage of what Freedom Boat Club offers.
