LAKE WYLIE

Welcome to Lake Wylie! Lake Wylie is 32 miles long with 325 miles of shoreline and allows you to explore both North and South Carolina. With Lake Wylie being so close to the bustling city of Charlotte, you can escape to the lake in no time. In-season, we have a fleet of 20 boats that allow you to cruise, fish, surf, ski, wakeboard, and more. 

The Weir Family is excited to serve our members and guests as we welcome you to Freedom Boat Club of Lake Norman and Lake Wylie. Boasting four convenient locations with brand new, top model boats in our fleet each season, our luxury clubs are ready for your lazy pontoon picnics or the rip roaring fun of an afternoon of water sports. FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

How much is it? Are there different membership options?

The pricing structure is much like a country club. You will pay a one-time entry fee and monthly dues based on the membership that you choose. Connect with the club nearest you to learn more about membership options and current promotions!

How do I make a reservation?

Reserving a boat has never been easier. Simply log in to your reservation dashboard and choose your desired date, vessel, and time slot.

How much can I boat?

We allow up to 4 rolling reservations at any given time. Simply put – you can have 4 reservations on the books. Once you use one, you free one up. You may book up to 6 months in advance!

How many boats do you have?

Number and type of boats will vary by location. Connect with the club nearest you to learn more about the local fleet.

WHAT OUR CUSTOMERS SAY

Everything was ready to go without any problem, very clean boats, full gas plus the person at the dock was really friendly and helpful about everything. Great experience!

Incredible day of boating with the Freedom Boat Club yesterday. They went above and beyond. It was our first use of the reciprocal agreement and it was just as good as our typical experience on Long Island at our home base.

I am amazed at the number of other locations across the country and in Europe. FBC is the expert in the boat club industry.. For sure!
