About Us - FBC Puget Sound
Freedom Boat Club is a boating adventure made simple. At Freedom Boat Club, we believe that life is better on the water and that boating should be easy. We own the boats and do all the work so that you have all the adventures and make all the memories, which are sure to last a lifetime. Established in 1989, Freedom Boat Club is the worlds largest members only boat club. We invented the boat club concept over 30 years ago in Sarasota, FL and now we’ve brought it here to you in the PNW.
As a Freedom Boat Club member, you gain unlimited access to a new fleet of boats and reciprocal use of hundreds of clubs nationwide including Canada and Europe! We clean, moor, maintain and insure the fleet so that you don’t have to. We do it all for you so you can focus on enjoying life on the water with the people you love.
We are open 7 days a week and have a state of the art reservation system. This puts the convenience of reserving a boat right in your hands through our app or website. Pick your day, marina and boat, then let us get it ready for you and offer best in class service when you show up for your adventures on the water.
Don’t forget, you have unlimited home-club boating access at our FBC Kirkland, FBC Edmonds, FBC Lake Union Nautical Landing, FBC Lake Union AGC, FBC Seattle Elliot Bay Marina, FBC Everrett, FBC Olympia, FBC Tacoma, FBC Port Orchard, FBC Bremerton, and FBC Poulsbo club locations, with more coming soon!

We Take Care of It All...Including the Boats
We’ve taken care to select a variety of quality boats. And we always keep them clean and maintained. We also take care of the storage, insurance and repairs. So you can just focus on the fun!
Pay a 1x Entry Fee and Monthly Dues
Just pay a one-time entry fee and select one of our membership plans. Your local Club will have a variety of plans to match your recreational boating needs.
Get Unlimited Training from Licensed Captains
Your safety is our No. 1 concern. So we give all our members unlimited training with certified captains. And if you wish to boat in a new location, they’ll show you the waterways.
Take Any Boat Out as Often as You Wish
Reserve a boat by phone or online. Then go fishing, tubing or head to a restaurant with friends. When you’re done, just bring the boat back and pay for the fuel. We take care of everything else!

Captain Kevin did a great job of conveying new and occasionally complex information in an easily comprehensible manner, and giving us actionable tips and techniques so we may best enjoy our boating. Knowing our fellow club members are similarly trained also inspires our confidence in the club's leadership.

We signed up and had our new member orientation. We spent the better part of the afternoon on the water on Commencement Bay familiarizing ourselves with a new Merry Fisher 695 doing docking procedures and other useful boat maneuvers. Shawn is a great instructor, no matter what your previous experience is. Could not be happier.

The pricing structure is much like a country club. You will pay a one-time entry fee and monthly dues based on the membership that you choose. Connect with the club nearest you to learn more about membership options and current promotions!
Reserving a boat has never been easier. Simply log in to your reservation dashboard and choose your desired date, vessel, and time slot.
Freedom Boat Club is truly unlimited boating. We allow up to 4 rolling reservations at any given time. Simply put – you can have 4 reservations on the books. Once you use one, you free one up. You may book up to 6 months in advance!
