Nestled on the eastern side of the Hudson River, our Ossining location at Shattemuc Yacht Club is a hop, skip and a jump from the Metro North Rail line and the historic downtown center of Ossining, NY. SYC has been selected three years in a row for Boaters’ Choice Award by Marinas.com, making it one of the top yacht clubs in the country to visit. Along with her sister Freedom Boat Club port, located west across the Hudson in Haverstraw, these two locations provide the ultimate access for you to explore the Hudson River! Take a cruise north, as you watch tug boats push barges filled with raw materials down south. Cruise by the famous United States Military Academy, also known as West Point, on your trip north to see the glorious and haunting Bannerman’s Castle. Or, plan a trip south past Nyack, on your right, and Yonkers, on your left, into the urban metropolitan hub that is New York City Harbor! History, nature and boating buffs alike will be thrilled to enjoy this amazing new location.
