Harbor East Marina in Baltimore, MD is home of Freedom Boat Club in downtown Baltimore. Located in the heart of the city, the Harbor East area of Baltimore boasts 12 square blocks of fine dining restaurants, world-class hotels, hip lounges, quaint pubs, and the best of national and local shops. In addition to all that Harbor East has to offer, guests can walk to all the major attractions at the Inner Harbor, Fell’s Point and Little Italy including the National Aquarium and the Maryland Science Center.
Complementing its vibrant and bustling location, Harbor East Marina features ample amenities for our members. From exciting summer events and educational seminars, to well-appointed showers and a comfortable marina lounge, boaters have access to all the comforts of home while enjoying their stay in Baltimore.
PLEASE NOTE: A Boater Education Card from Maryland or your home state must be in your possession. You need education if you were born after July 1,1972, and will be operating a boat or PWC in Maryland. You can take the boaters safety course online for free at http://www.boatus.org/maryland/

• Take a ride past Ft. McHenry to Curtis Creek. Heading into Curtis Bay take in the views of shipwrecks, Coast Guard Yard which turns into a country-style river turning into Curtis Creek.
• Nick’s Inner Harbor Seafood restaurant for live music, and best Bloody-Mary bar.
• Head to Bear Creek Hard Yacht Café for great food and live music. Modelled after Key West Schooners’ Wharf.
• Enjoy boating all day and then an outside concert at Pier 6 in the evening.
Enjoy the day seeing the city by boat or cruising to your favorite place to eat.

We’ve taken care to select a variety of quality boats. And we always keep them clean and maintained. We also take care of the storage, insurance and repairs. So you can just focus on the fun!
Pay a 1x Entry Fee and Monthly Dues
Just pay a 1x entry fee and choose one of our membership plans. Boat every day of the year. Or just weekdays. Some clubs may even have 3 and 6 month plans. And you can change your plan as the need arises.
Get Unlimited Training from Licensed Captains
Your safety is our No. 1 concern. So we give all our members unlimited training with certified captains. And if you wish to boat in a new location, they’ll show you the waterways.
Take Any Boat Out as Often as You Wish
Reserve a boat by phone or online. Then go fishing, tubing or head to a restaurant with friends. When you’re done, just bring the boat back and pay for the fuel. We take care of everything else!

The pricing structure is much like a country club. You will pay a one-time entry fee and monthly dues based on the membership that you choose. Connect with the club nearest you to learn more about membership options and current promotions!
Reserving a boat has never been easier. Simply log in to your reservation dashboard and choose your desired date, vessel, and time slot.
Freedom Boat Club is truly unlimited boating. We allow up to 4 rolling reservations at any given time. Simply put – you can have 4 reservations on the books. Once you use one, you free one up. You may book up to 6 months in advance!
