Portsmouth

The Portsmouth club was the very first Freedom Boat Club UK location, which opened in April 2021. As a member of Portsmouth you're part of our Solent hub and have unlimited access to our Hythe Marina Village location.

With a base at the top of Portsmouth Harbour, just off the motorway, it makes for easy access to get straight out onto the water. There are plenty of scenic places to explore even within the harbour environs, with Portchester Castle on the doorstep and plenty of naval history. For those looking to indulge in some retail therapy, Gunwharf Quays shopping complex is just a short trip away featuring the iconic Spinnaker Tower. Within 30 minutes you can be out onto the Solent, just a short hop over to the Isle of Wight.

The Solent fleet currently includes two Ballistic RIBs, a Quicksilver 675 Open, two Quicksilver 675 Weekends and a Bayliner VR6 Bowrider.
