Opened in August of 2020, Falls Lake is one of the newest Freedom Boat Club locations. This undeveloped, 12,000+ acre reservoir is located in Durham, Wake, and Granville counties. Falls Lake extends 28 miles (45 km) up the Neuse River. The lake is named for the Falls of the Neuse, a once whitewater section of the river that fell from the Piedmont into the lower Coastal Plain submerged during construction of the lake.
A perfect complement to hiking and campaign around the lake, boating on Falls Lake provides a great opportunity to take in the beauty of the surrounding area from a different viewpoint. Whether you’re into water sports or a simple pleasure cruise with family and friends, our Falls Lake location is a great destination for folks looking to explore the great outdoors.
The memories we’ve made with our family and friends have been priceless and our experience with the management and staff at the Jordan Lake location has been excellent.
I have been a member here for a year now. I love the membership so far. Ian (manager) and all the people that work there are exceptional. Great experience every time!
The staff is great and the boats are high quality.
