Our Viking Yachting Center location is nestled just under the Mullica River Bridge and a stone’s throw away from the Viking Manufacturing Plant. This location is a favorite among boaters due to its accessibility to beautiful, protected waterways including the Bass River, the Great Bay, and the Atlantic Ocean. This protected marina location offers up a peaceful and spectacular natural backdrop to help you unwind and escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life. And when you want to pick up the pace and get the action started, our marina is conveniently located just minutes from prime fishing and cruising locales along with many other exciting Jersey Shore attractions.
The 32-acre scenic marina boasts several amenities and Breezes Dock and Grill with regular live music on site. An enjoyable ride on the river brings our members to several dock and dine restaurant options, prime fishing locations, and open water for skiing and tubing; making this location a boaters dream destination.

"We joined Freedom Boat Club in April and have been out almost every week since, sometimes twice a week. This is the most efficient and cost effective way to get involved in boating, especially here in Delaware where the conditions and type of boats required can vary so much based on the location and type of boating you want to do. The staff is outstanding at both locations and couldn't be more helpful. My wife really appreciates not having to "swab the decks" when we get back to the dock!" Rich Z
"Freedom Boat Club is a fantastic group of people willing to help and support their members in any way possible. We have learned how to drive, dock, and enjoy our times out on beautiful brand new boats that make us feel like we are being spoiled to death! We have enjoyed every minute of our experience, boating every weekend, and meeting and hanging out with a bunch of wonderful caring people. If you love water, boats, fishing, friends, and the nature of the Delmarva, please do yourself a favor and check it out! You won't be disappointed! Joining the Freedom Boat Club in Delaware has changed our life!" - Mary D
"This club offers exactly what it promises ... wonderful new boats, amazing knowledgeable staff and easy booking . We’ve been able to use a boat every time we’ve wanted one . The guys on the dock do everything for us so it’s a no worry experiment for anyone not familiar with it. Thank you to everyone in Lewes that enables us to get out on the water." - Melanie C
"Linda and I had our classroom and on the water training yesterday. Captain Brad was great! His approach to the classroom training kept us engaged and his ability to connect his real life experiences to the learning points were very valuable. He took the time to answer any and all questions. We also greatly appreciated Brad's on the water "pilot training" approach as well - knowledgeable, patient, and explained the "why" as he taught us "how".
"I never post but this club is terrific. Owners with integrity, young dock men who are obliging and efficient, boats that are well taken care of, and training as I request it. What more could you possibly ask for?"
