JULINGTON CREEK WEST

Freedom Boat Club Julington Creek West rests at the mouth of old bull bay, granting instant access to the vast St. Johns River. A brief cruise north brings members to downtown Jacksonville, where they can enjoy local sporting events and entertainment, restaurants, and the hidden oasis Exchange Island. Southbound, members can adventure to Palatka and Green Cove Springs, and enjoy local bites from popular dining destinations such as Corky Bells and Outback Crab Shack.

 

Many members enjoy the spoils of the waterways without having to travel far, and often stay right on Julington Creek for bass fishing and water sports. The smooth surface provides excellent conditions for tubing and wakeboarding.

 

Doctors Lake is directly across the St Johns, and provides wide-open waters for safe, family fun. The lake is also home to Whitey’s Fish Camp, a fan favorite dockside dining destination. If you’re seeking a little more adventure, Black Creek provides a thrilling switchback path, great for twisting the tube. There’s also a rope swing for the bold boaters.

 

Wherever your boating takes you, theres something for everyone at Julington Creek West. Freedom Boat Club members believe it's more about the journey than the destination when it comes to being on the water.

How much is it? Are there different membership options?

The pricing structure is much like a country club. You will pay a one-time entry fee and monthly dues based on the membership that you choose. Connect with the club nearest you to learn more about membership options and current promotions!

How do I make a reservation?

Reserving a boat has never been easier. Simply log in to your reservation dashboard and choose your desired date, vessel, and time slot.

How much can I boat?

We allow up to 4 rolling reservations at any given time. Simply put – you can have 4 reservations on the books. Once you use one, you free one up. You may book up to 6 months in advance!

How many boats do you have?

Number and type of boats will vary by location. Connect with the club nearest you to learn more about the local fleet.

WHAT OUR CUSTOMERS SAY

Everything was ready to go without any problem, very clean boats, full gas plus the person at the dock was really friendly and helpful about everything. Great experience!

Incredible day of boating with the Freedom Boat Club yesterday. They went above and beyond. It was our first use of the reciprocal agreement and it was just as good as our typical experience on Long Island at our home base.
