GUNTERSVILLE - CITY HARBOR MARINA
Located on beautiful Lake Guntersville, less than an hour from Huntsville, Freedom Boat Club at City Harbor Marina is your family friendly, destination, boating location. City Harbor is home to a mix of restaurants, bars, condos, lodging, shopping, events and is an entertainment hub.
Lake Guntersville is Alabama’s largest lake spanning 69,100 acres and is spectacular in its scenic beauty. Boating, fishing, hunting, and eagle watching are popular activities in the area.
The Lake Guntersville State Park, located seven miles from downtown Guntersville, offers camping, a hotel and conference center, lakeside cabins, and chalets. The State Park also provides visitors with a beautiful golf course, hiking trails, and the Screaming Eagle zipline course.
You can boat to one of Lake Guntersville’s many sandy beaches, wake board or waterski with friends, have a meal at one of the many lake-front restaurants, picnic at the park or retreat to a quiet cove.
Guntersville is the home to three sites on the North Alabama Birding Trail. In addition to Bald Eagles, you might see Red-breasted Mergansers, Lesser Scaup, Gadwalls, as well as Common Loons, Hooded Grebes, Double-crested Cormorant, Osprey and Red-necked Grebes.

How much is it? Are there different membership options?
The pricing structure is much like a country club. You will pay a one-time entry fee and monthly dues based on the membership that you choose. Connect with the club nearest you to learn more about membership options and current promotions!
How do I make a reservation?
Reserving a boat has never been easier. Simply log in to your reservation dashboard and choose your desired date, vessel, and time slot.
How much can I boat?
We allow up to 4 rolling reservations at any given time. Simply put – you can have 4 reservations on the books. Once you use one, you free one up. You may book up to 6 months in advance!
How many boats do you have?
Number and type of boats will vary by location. Connect with the club nearest you to learn more about the local fleet.
