Freedom Boat club invites you to discover the port of El Arenal, in the Bay of Palma de Mallorca, operated by the 'Club Nàutic S'Arenal'. It is located about 15 kilometres southeast of the island's capital, Palma, at the end of the Platja de Palma beach. In the middle of the bay of Palma de Mallorca, it is one of the few ports that are protected from the N and NE winds. The long sandy beach of Platja de Palma begins at the northern end of the port. Bars, restaurants, ice cream parlours, shops and hotels line the promenade. The transport connections from the harbour are excellent. In a few minutes you are on the MA-19, which leads to the south coast or passes Palma airport to the city centre. There is also a bus connection and taxi service. From this location, you can sail to such emblematic coves as Es Trenc, Santanyí, Caló des Burgit, Cala Barca or Cala Barca.
