Puerto de La Caleta de Velez is a fishing port and marina located three kilometers east of Torre del Mar, in the municipality of Velez-Málaga, province of Málaga, autonomous community of Andalusia, in Spain. The Port of La Caleta de Velez is the only port facility for the sport fleet of the eastern Costa del Sol. What was once a large fishing port has converted part of its facilities into a modern marina area thanks to the work carried out in recent years. The port of Caleta de Velez takes advantage of the natural shelter from westerly storms, due to the orientation of the coast, while it is protected from easterly winds by a block dyke. The surroundings of the port is a tourist site where you can enjoy an extraordinary promenade.
